Dr. Harshali Kaur has joined as Member (CRM) in CGRF on 09.09.19.
She is a B. Sc. (H) in Occupational Therapy. She also holds a B.Ed. degree and has
recently completed her Masters in Law.
After working for more than fourteen years in the Education sector as an academician,
a teacher trainer, an administrator and a Principal; she joined the Consumer Forum
at Consumer Dispute Redressal Forum, Sheikh Sarai as a Member. During her tenure
at the CDRF she has written more than 600 judgements. Her judgements are balanced
and nuanced and have been held up in the higher fora.
She has also taken a keen interest in helping people with special need since her
school and college days. She has worked at several reputed Hospitals like Sucheta
Kriplani Hospital, Amar Jyoti Institute, Spastic Society, Hauz Khaz and others as
part of her internship and practical work during her training as a Therapist. She
follows her passion of helping children and finds it most fulfilling and personally
uplifting.

Her interest and need to give back to society also led her to start her own NGO
along with working with the Welfare Home for Children where she volunteers her time
and medical expertise.
She writes in several literary genres ranging from poetry to fiction, columns to
essays. She is the contributing author in several anthologies and regularly writes
for e magazines. She has written several books on women centric issues like domestic
violence, alienation, female foeticide, marital rape and women empowerment and independence.
She is currently working on her third book.
She is also the winner of Write India- Season 2, a short story contest that is held
by the Times of India group.
She has chaired several discussions with eminent personalities in their chosen fields
of World Peace, Meditation, Infertility and Social Causes and stalwarts in the field
of Writing.
As a painter she expresses herself and her observations of her surroundings in oil
paintings which have been exhibited in solo and group shows in India Habitat Center,
New Delhi and also in Gurugram.
