Mr. Nishat Ahmed Alvi has joined as Member (CRM) in CGRF on 22.04.2022.

Sh. Alvi is Law Graduate from Aligarh Muslim University.

He got himself enrolled as advocate with Bar Council of Delhi in the year 1986. Initially he worked with Mr. V.B. Andlay, Advocate a renowned Civil Lawyer in Tiz Hazari Court for about six months, thereafter with Mr. P.V. Kapoor, Advocate, Barister at Law in High Court of Delhi, learning Company Law and other Civil Laws. After practicing for few years as such junior advocate, he started independent practice in High Court of Delhi. During his independent practice he had occasions to appear before District Courts of Delhi and other Forums & Tribunals beside High Court of Delhi.

He had been Panel Lawyer to appear in High Court and other Courts/Tribunals/Forums on behalf of Food Corporation of India, Delhi Waqf Board, General Insurance Companies, Punjab National Bank, State Bank of India, Bombay Mercantile Cooperative Bank Limited. He was also appointed as Additional Standing Counsel in High Court of Delhi on behalf of New Delhi Municipal Council.

After practice as such advocate for about 26 years, he was appointed as Member Consumer Forum, Delhi and posted as such in North-East District Forum, wherefrom retired in the year 2017. There after had been doing consultancy in Legal field and on 22.04.2022 appointed as Member (CRM) BSES (BYPL) Delhi
